Issue: pre-deposit @ 25% before filing of appeal u/s 45AA of the ESI Act, 1948 Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in CA No.3464 of 2022 in SLP (Civil)No.3O369 of 2Ol7 in the matter ESIC V/s Maruti Suzuki India Ltd & Ors. held that once the statue has fixed the condition of pre-deposit @ 25% before filing an appeal, such condition is required to be satisfled.
